Kevin Byrne
Kevin Byrne, a native of Rockville Centre, NY received his dance training at Eglevsky Ballet School and earned a BFA from Marymount Manhattan College, NY. Mr. Byrne danced with the Marymount Dance Company for four seasons performing works by Lar Lubovitch, Christopher D’Ambroise, Seán Curran, Louis Falco, Joao Carvalho, and Katie Langan. Currently in his fourth season with American Repertory Ballet his roles include Drosselmeyer in Graham Lustig’s The Nutcracker, the Father in Beauty and the Beast... a Gothic Romance, and Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream. A diligent and focused dancer, he has established himself as a strong partner. He has created roles in Mr. Lustig’s Dialogues as well as Exorcising Man by Lauri Stallings and performs featured roles in Mr. Lustig’s Uncertain Steps, Evening, and Baker’s Dozen by Twyla Tharp. Mr. Byrne has also performed with Configuration Dance Theatre. |
