Pedro Gamino

Pedro Gamino grew up in San Francisco’s Mission District. He trained at the Academy of Ballet and later with the School of American Ballet. Professionally he has danced with the Smuin Ballet and Dayton Ballet. A versatile performer comfortable in both classical and contemporary works, he has been featured as the Cavalier and the Nutcracker in Graham Lustig’s The Nutcracker, the trio in Evening and Baker’s Dozen by Twyla Tharp, as well as creating a role in Suite by Val Caniparoli. This summer he performed with Choreographers and Friends, a showcase of several San Francisco based choreographers. This is Mr. Gamino’s second season with the company.
