At Princeton Ballet School, we’ve been building beautiful dancers’ bodies since 1954. The sequence of exercises presented in the classic ballet barre works all the major muscle groups of the body, including the brain. But not everyone has an interest in taking a full ballet class, with jumps and turns. CardioBallet is for anyone looking for a good workout – the barre exercises work the major muscle groups, lengthen the torso and strengthen the core, and additional dance-related exercises will give a good cardio workout.
You may wear leotard, tights, and ballet shoes, or exercise wear and bare feet – exercise mat helpful but not necessary. If you would like a mat please bring your own.
