DANCE POWER Teaching Artist

American Repertory Ballet (ARB), New Jersey’s leading professional dance company, is seeking talented, motivated, and qualified dance Teaching Artists (TAs) for our DANCE POWER program.

In 1984, ARB and the New Brunswick Board of Education launched a unique collaboration called DANCE POWER. This program is the longest-running, uninterrupted community arts partnership in New Jersey, bringing dance to every second and third grade student in all eight New Brunswick elementary schools – more than 1,500 students in total.

American Repertory Ballet’s mission is to bring the joy, beauty, artistry and discipline of classical and contemporary dance to New Jersey and nationwide audiences and to dance students through artistic and educational programs. The organization is comprised of: American Repertory Ballet, the preeminent classical and contemporary ballet company in the state; Princeton Ballet School, one of the largest and most respected non-profit dance schools in the nation; and the Access and Enrichment initiatives, ranging from the long-running and acclaimed DANCE POWER program in public schools to the popular On Pointe free monthly enrichment series.
