KATHLEEN A. SMITH-LOMBARDO
began her training here at Princeton Ballet School in 1988. She graduated from Princeton Ballet School’s Professional Training Program as well as Princeton Ballet School’s pre-professional company PBII, now known as PBW. She has performed various roles in ARB’s The Nutcracker under the direction of both Septime Webre and Graham Lustig. Ms. Smith-Lombardo also has performed numerous pieces with Susan Tenney Dance. She has also studied at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. Ms. Smith-Lombardo will be entering her 15th year of teaching at Princeton Ballet School. She’s also a DANCE POWER Teaching Artist for ARB’s DANCE POWER program, which is the longest continuously running Arts and Community partnership in New Jersey and the cornerstone of American Repertory Ballet’s Access & Enrichment program. Ms.Smith-Lombardo was named the DANCE POWER Coordinator in 2010. Her roll as Coordinator is to oversee the DANCE POWER program within the public schools, as well as the DANCE POWER scholars within Princeton Ballet School. She was the choreographer for George Street Playhouse’s Summer Theater Academy in 2010. Ms.Smith-Lombardo also serves as one of the coordinators for Princeton Ballet School’s New Brunswick Summer Dance Camp and DANCE POWER Summer Dance Camp.
