FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 27, 2015
SKILLMAN, NJ – On Friday, June 12, 2015 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the Cherry Valley Country Club in Skillman, NJ, Princeton Ballet School, the official school of American Repertory Ballet, will host its second annual fashion show: “Turn Out for Fashion.” All proceeds of this event will support the Princeton Ballet School Scholarship Fund. Before the Fashion Show, on May 2, American Repertory Ballet will participate in Lord & Taylor’s “Charity Day: Shop Smart Do Good,” supporting Women’s Health in our community.
The theme this year is “See Your Brilliance,” reinforcing that each of us is brilliant in mind and body. This is an opportunity to bring family and friends together to celebrate the beauty, both inside and outside, of our entire Princeton Ballet School community.
“Turn Out for Fashion” is a unique community building experience for Princeton Ballet School families and other area residents. It is aimed at empowering youth and inspiring confidence and friendship.
The fashion show will feature youth models between the ages of 6 and 18 from Princeton Ballet School families. These ballet students will model clothing sponsored by Lord & Taylor, alongside American Repertory Ballet company dancers and ARB Artistic Director Douglas Martin and Resident Choreographer Mary Barton.
The event will also feature a 50/50 Cash Raffle Drawing and a tricky tray featuring gift baskets, tickets to art and sporting events, fine jewelry, and more! A sit-down lunch will be catered by the Cherry Valley Country Club. Fashion and beauty vendors will be in attendance. Clinique representatives will be at the event providing makeup application sessions and manicures. All “Turn Out for Fashion” guests will receive door prizes, including cosmetic samples, sponsored by Lord & Taylor.
“Charity Day: Shop Smart Do Good,” supporting Women’s Health in our community, will be held on Saturday, May 2 at Lord & Taylor in the Quaker Bridge Mall. This will be an all-day shopping event including: specialty discounts, DJ, free gifts with purchase, cosmetic added value, children’s activities, light catering and so much more! Tickets are $5.00 each and are available at Princeton Ballet School’s Princeton location (301 N. Harrison Street -above McCaffrey’s). All proceeds from the sale of tickets will benefit Princeton Ballet School.
