Tears of the Moon

Fulfilling his long-held desire to create a work to music by Beethoven, Kirk Peterson created Tears of the Moon on ARB dancers in 2013, when he felt he “now ha[d] the maturity and experience as an artist to explore the possibilities of dance to the master’s work.” A delicately emotional piece, Tears of the Moon features a range of movements – from highly technical, quick footwork to a lush and emotional pas de deus.
