Summer Programs

Summer Intensive: Advanced

Princeton Ballet School’s Advanced Summer Intensive is a 5-week program is designed to nurture a dancer’s technical and artistic progress. This program attracts advanced students from all over the globe interested in studying with our distinguished faculty.

Summer Intensive: Intermediates

Summer Intensive Intermediates offers an exciting summer program for young dancers, modeled on our internationally acclaimed Summer Intensive, of which it is an extension. Summer Intensive Intermediates offers the same careful, personal training for which Princeton Ballet School is famous and is presented by some of the same teachers as those who teach the Intensive.

Summer Intensive: Juniors

Summer Intensive Juniors is a program for dancers ages 9-11 who are ready to take their skills to the next level. The emphasis will be on improving technique, building physical strength and flexibility, improving coordination and learning speed, and having a great time together! This program is ideal for dancers who are already comfortable with the basics and are ready to push themselves further.

Summer Intensive: DANCE POWER

Dancers will start their day with a ballet class taught by a PBS Faculty member, learn choreography, and stretch and condition every day. Additional styles offered and taught by a DANCE POWER Teaching Artist: hip hop, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary.

Summer Courses for Children

Princeton Ballet School offers fun and rewarding Children’s Summer classes, beginning with Hand-in-Hand classes for 3-year-olds to explore the world of rhythm and dance. All levels of classes for children ages 4-12 are offered throughout the Summer, no previous dance experience required!

Summer Open Enrollment

Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Open Classes are available for students ages 13 to adult. “Drop in” for a class, revisit your favorite style, or try something new!

Children’s Ballet Camp

Children’s Ballet Camp allows students ages 4-8 to learn concepts through movement, developing their body-mind connection as well as teaching creativity, autonomy and self-expression.
